What stays on your PC, what reaches this site, what the Records show, and how to have something taken down.
On your PC
Your settings, your saved fights, your pets and characters as the game last sent them, and any recording you make stay in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DaevaMeter. Nobody else sees them.
Sent by the meter
Update checks, a count of who’s using it (a random number, never saved), the world bosses’ times it sees on your server, and your Records boss kills if Records is on. Every detail →
This website
No account, no cookies, no ads, no trackers, no analytics. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
Names on the Records
- By class. Everyone in a fight is shown by their class: “Cleric”, “Sorcerer 2”.
- Show names (Settings › DPS Meter › Records; on for a new install, as you had it after an update) shows your own name only, on the fights you send. Your party stays by their class. Turn it off and you’re shown by your class too.
- On the Records, nobody’s server is sent or shown: only its region (Europe, NA East…).
- Fights sent before DaevaMeter 2.0.7 with names are now shown with classes only.

What the Records keep

Taking a fight down
To have a fight taken down or your name taken off one, or for any question about your data, ask on the Discord with the fight’s link. It’s done by hand.
